Overview

The panel discussion, "Women In Media," is designed to honor Women's History Month by spotlighting successful women who are graduates of Clark Atlanta University and have made significant strides in the mass media industry. • Strategies for excelling in an industry that is constantly evolving and changing

  • Effective networking tips for college students majoring in mass media to build connections and opportunities within the industry.

Planning Process

1. Four to five weeks before the event, conduct thorough research to identify and formally invite 2 to 3 women who graduated from Clark Atlanta University and excel in the mass media industry.

2. Once speakers have been confirmed, find a location on campus that is suitable for hosting the event and will help us achieve a successful turnout. It should be easily accessible, have enough space to accommodate the expected number of attendees, and be equipped with the necessary facilities for the event activities.

3. Create engaging promotional content tailored for distribution on campus and across popular social media platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook. The promotional material should be attention-grabbing and informative, highlighting the essential details of the event and encouraging participation.
